With the Tape Hair Extensions cold tabs refil, you can professionally prepare your Tape In Hair Extensions for reapplication. The pre-cut replacement tapes are ideal when your extensions need to be moved up or reused after removal. This allows you to wear your human hair extensions for longer while giving them strong, clean hold again.

Why the right tape adhesive is so important

How to use: Tape Adhesive

First, carefully remove the Tape Extensions with a suitable Tape Remover. Afterwards, all old adhesive residue must be completely removed from the tape area. This step is especially important, as residue can reduce the new adhesive strength.

Before re-taping, make sure that the bonding area is:

• clean and dry
• free from oil, conditioner, hair masks or styling products
• completely free from old adhesive residue
• Avoid direct contact with the adhesive surface so the tape adhesive can bond optimally

Place the new tape adhesive exactly onto the previous adhesive area of the hair extension. Press it down evenly and firmly to avoid air bubbles. Only then should the protective film be removed and the extension reapplied.

Professional tips for better hold

For a particularly clean result, the tape strips should be applied straight and flush with the bonding area. After application, we recommend using our matching Tape Pliers. The Tape Pliers help you press the bonds evenly and optimise the hold.
After moving up your extensions, you should avoid washing your hair for around 48 hours. Care products such as hair oil, masks or conditioner should only be applied to the lengths and ends, not directly onto the tape bonds.
